Learning To Read Music and Play an Instrument

My parents always encouraged me to do the things that made me happy.  I have always loved music and I have always been involved with band and chorus.  I felt that music was an escape and I could completely lose myself in it.  I am teaching my children how to read music and I am letting them take free electric guitar lessons.  They both seem to love music as much as I do and this makes me very happy.  It would be great for them to join a band or something.  I have always wished that I would have pursued a career in music.
