Take into account that some timeshare packages can be exchanged for one week in another resort. This is known as foreign exchange. Some packages timeshare can be exchanged for a week at your home resort; this is known as an internal exchange. Ask your provider for timeshare, if those options are possible. If possible, select a timeshare company that will allow you to bank your unused time share weeks to use later.
