i am in love with the new band called dear daddy. there are three girls and a guy who are all beautiful people and incredibly talented who have daddy issues, hence the name dear daddy. i mean, come on, who doesnt have daddy issues? they are a mix of pop and rock music and are truly the newest best female group in the connecticut area, soon to be nationally and world reknown! better than shakira and pink combined, their lyrics, beat, and melodic intervals speak to me in a way i have never felt before. i am so in love with them!

For the past seven years, we have attende a Christmas Craft Fayre held by the Scouts at our local community centre. Lots of people enjoy going to the event and many will buy some of the wonderful handmade crafts which are on offer from various sellers. My younger brother and I decided that we would participate this year and take along some of our own creations to sell. First we had to purchase plenty of craft materials to get our products ready for the fayre.  We decided to produce several different items including Seasonal Ornaments and snowmen. My son is wanting to start a band. Now 71 years of age, with an ankle that is disabled, I am no longer able to ballroom dance, which was something I loved to do. My late husband had worked his way through college as an Arthur Murray dance instructor. For those of you who are too young to recognize that name, Arthur Murray was a ballroom dance instructor who, along with his wife Kathryn, became the owner of a chain of dance studios still in existence all over the world. Ballroom dancing can help people who are a bit introverted to become more socially skilled. In my opinion, it is not only a joyful way to spend time but it can be a great exercise for anyone who hates exercising in gyms and silly dance costumes! Ballroom dancing is also romantic and can bring two people closer together in more ways than just holding each other during a dance.
