Houston is not small

I was in Houston, Texas several years ago. I came to one conclusion about the city right away: you have to be a native to love it. I am from a small community of 1,500 people and I was overwhelmed to say the least. The city size and the amount of people on the roads really threw me for a loop. I don’t know how in the world anybody finds anything. I guess it’s just too fast paced for a hick like me! I did, however, fall in love with the hot and dry weather. For it to never really get cold in the winter is very appealing to me. I also loved the shopping at the many department store Buildings because many things sold in them can’t be bought in my local stores.
