Good Dog Trainer?

I am in desperate need of a good dog trainer.  I live in Hoboken, so I would prefer a NJ dog trainer.  Does anyone know of anyone that is good?  I have tried trainers in the past with bad results, so this time I am going to be very selective in finding the right one for me and my dog.  My precious puppy has decided eat our shoes, poop in our house and bite strangers that come into the home.  I am not as worried about the first two issues but we just can’t have a dog that is going to bite anyone!
