Teenagers Are A Different Type Of Child

In just one or two years, your sweet little daughter who told you everything turns into someone who wants nothing to do with you. It’s not personal. Many of the teenage problems you will face come from the major biological, neurological, and social changes that your child is going through. While discipline and reinforcement is still needed, you need to understand why your teenager is saying the things she says or doing the things she’s doing. Give her a respectable amount of space and let her start to make some of her own decisions. Teenagers must be given the chance to learn from their own mistakes and it’s your job to make sure they don’t do anything too serious and give them a shoulder to lean on when something does go wrong.
