Aides Insignia
My cousin received some awesome Aide Army Insignia to go on his uniform while he was in the military. He bores his children to tears now, telling them all about how he got his patch and that insignia. It’s funny to hear the stories change. Sometimes, when he comes over, I ask him about it just so that I can get a laugh at the newest version of the story. One year for Christmas, he gave my sons pieces of shrapnel that he claims came from his heart. The boys don’t know that it really came from his bottom, but I don’t have the heart to tell them otherwise and they don’t have the guts to ask.
