Software on the shelves that is out of date
I read a lot of things on the internet which I do not understand for example, certain software with dates on that seem ancient are still being used! I saw word help 2007 and a load of other software that had dates on and I do not understand this. If new software comes out, surely it would be dated from the year it is launched and not a year that is out of date, it seems like you would be buying older versions of software and not new if the date was wrong! Can anyone tell me what this is with the theory behind the date thing as I don’t understand it at all?
