Training for 5 Miles
I was so nervous when I first started running. I had always had arthritis in my left knee and always used that as an excuse not to run. I had a friend who happened to be a personal trainer and he offered to put me through his 5k training program for free. I accepted, but only because his offer was so generous. I never would have expected that I would love it. And now I have a support for my knee and I actually feel that it is improving. Since I use it every single day, it is beginning to be capable of more use. And that, on it’s own, is worth an hour long run every morning.
